Roman Bezemek was born in 1950 in Banska Bystrica, middle of Slovakia. He started his painting career in a young age and he has had some remarkable regional achievements before reaching maturity. Unfortunately, after completing his university and postgraduate studies, he almost abandoned painting and for several years became active in various management positions, but later made his return.
	After his return he rediscovered his inspiration in beautiful nature of Slovakia and now specializes mainly in landscapes oil paintings. His style moves between impressionism and realism and his techniques also vary depending on current topic of interest and creative atmosphere. He is a passionate traveller and, as mentioned earlier, his main source of inspiration is gorgeous nature of Slovakia which he cellebrates and translates to his artwork. He is not the assembly-line type of painter, he only paints a few paintings every month and his works are in great demand in Slovakia.
